Nature’s First Green, Afforded by the Recent Rain
The world has become gold green in Napa; the sunrise, magical; the grass so green it hurts your eyes.
The drought persists, however. We are not seduced by the greening. This week we will post a series of interviews with Suscol Intertribal Counsel’s Charlie Toledo, who has worked with water issues in California and the world for over 20 years. The situation is dire, and we must act. There are things we each can do.
But this day of rest, we revel in the Light, the abundance of beauty, and we pray that the forecasts of significant rainfall later this week come to fruition.
