First People’s Agriculture
Charlie will discuss indigenous relationship to earth, trees, water, stones: Native American perspective of mother earth. “Native first people’s had a much different relationship to the earth than current industrialized people. Come share a glimpse of that view which is being currently revived through words like perma-culture, organic, sustainable. The Europeans did not discover a wilderness paradise but a cultivated agricultural preserve, so vastly different than anything they had ever experienced before their eyes could not see it.”
Suggested donation $10 to benefit “Suskol house” a traditional Native American Healing and Cultural Center on twenty acres in Chiles- Pope Valley.
