Marcus, Professor Emerita of the Departments of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, reading from her memoir Iona Dreaming: The Healing Power of Place. On a six month retreat on a remote Scottish island Marcus reflected on the restorative power of landscape, a wartime childhood in England, recovery from two bouts of cancer, and working on dreams with a Jungian analyst.
