Bottling the 2014 Distilled Product
Katherine Presley joined us this last summer, bringing her skills and care in helping Donald with distillation, and now helping Patricia bottle the distilled products. She thoroughly understands Biodynamic practices, being trained in England in anthroposophy and teaching in Waldorf schools. She is truly a resource for us!
Here she is, bottling our 2014 lavender facial mist. She is one of the few who can apply our labels without wrinkles and waves. Not so easy to do, as it turns out! Perhaps it is an energetic affair! Katherine’s energy is calming and full of Spirit —even for labels!
We are using Miron bottles now, which protect the living substance, the essence, of the plant’s essential oil and hydrosol from light damage. We could not get our supplier to certify the food-grade lining in the aluminum bottles was BPA free, so we turned to this special bottle, and with some trepidation. It is a special glass. Please do not throw it away! Reuse the bottle, or bring it to our Open House next June. We will refill it for 1/2 price ( as quantities allow, and Miron bottles only).
